In the wilderness
Under a sun dead silent
Confined yet
Astray
Intermediate
Amidst the cradle and the grave
In between
In disarray
Again and again
Introspection
Beneath the surface
In the deep
Awakened from nightmarish sleep
Invocation
Rise of the inner being
To become
To be renewed
Again and again
Come night eternal
Come ceaseless rain
For this is the realm of woe
And the everlasting pain
Again and again
Come scorching fire
Come boiling blood
The banners of the king draw closer
Below, below, below
The seeds from the unlit earth
Grow to spawn awareness
A voice speaking from the unknown
Commands one must obey
From the heart of the nethermost realm
A ray to scourge the skies
From the blackest of darkness
The most ravishing of light
odd choice of tracks for a re-interpretation but lets be honest, ask 100 people what to redo and you get 120 answers cause with a long history as Horn, there just are too many tracks. Audio & mixing is superb and follows the style of the last 3 releases.
I wouldn't start with this album cause you miss the evolution of Horn <and lots of kickass riffs>, grab this when you have several hours of the old ones under your belt to really grasp the full line of work. its worth it! Tleilaxu
Easily one of the most powerful Pagan Black metal albums unleashed into the world. The musicianship is phenomenal, the vocal performance is savage, and the atmosphere is a somber triumph. After my first play through I had to listen to it again. Horn has quickly become one of my favourite bands that I will champion at any time. battleslain
